AdventuRUN 2008 is finally over. I can finally take a rest from all those stressful preparation. Trust me, doing jobs from almost every department isn't fun, from sponsorship to advertising and promotion (A&P). For this event, I was the Head of Sponsorship Department. However due to
I'm proud to say that I got ING Insurance Bhd to be our official sponsor. They really sponsored alot, and the most attractive prizes was of coz the big ING Renault Remote Control Cars. Not forgetting ALL crew and participant shirts, small ING Renault cars, ING 3-Year-Planners, ING Renault crew shirts, certificate files, and goodie bags.
Of coz credits aren't for me alone, the entire sponsorship team did a great job. Namely Mangosteen, Sushi, Coffee, Cheese, Thunder, Egg, Mouse, Wave, and of coz our Assistant Organising Chair Person, Kiwi, who have assisted me all the way, and also helping to get more sponsors. Although some of you may not have gotten any sponsors, but hey, its not your fault that the companies rejected our lovely proposal rite? Try harder next time! Overall we managed to get 9 sponsors. Tks guys, I'm so proud of all of you! =D
On the event day (12/10/08), we had to reach super very early in the morning. Mangosteen, me, Pig and Coconut went in a car, we reached around 5.40am and started to shift the tables and chairs. Oh ya! I finally got to meet Gunner after soooo long!! A long lost good friend of mine in SAC back then. I still owe you 2 slaps!! Anyway, the sequence of events were simple. Let the pictures tell the story k?

After most of the participants finished running, the sponsors did well to entertain them. We had 3 occupied booths, 1 is of coz ING, the other 2 were Vico and Abbott Nutrition. Most of the crowd gathered at ING's booth to play a remote controlled car race. The younger ones gathered at Vico's sampling truck+booth to drink a nice cold cup of Vico, while the older ones drank milk samples at Abbott Nutrition's booth. Of coz SAC organised some games and performances too. But personally I think the closing was too long, dull and boring. Most ppl went home, except for those who were forced to stay back becoz of Taylor's bus, and my friends. Tks guys for staying back for nothing.

Lastly, thanks to all my friends and relatives who participated in this event, all 38 of you. I know I kinda 'forced' you guys to come, but thanks for showing up. It was great support for me. And especially to those who stayed back till the very end to witness the unfairness of the lucky draw system, sorry for the sien-ness. But at least we got to spend some time together after so many months! And tks for the encouragement given when I was down, both through mouth and sms. You know who you are.
*Sorry Sheng, I've decided to not talk about the things I'm really pissed about in the event. I'll keep those to myself for now.
